Résumé : | The present study aims to explore and analyse the indirect influence of a recent construct, managerial exemplarity (ME), on perceived organisational justice and two measures of social support: evaluation of Leader-Member Exchange (LMX) and Team-Member Exchange (TMX) with 993 employees in a banking firm. The results indicate that EM partially mediates the effect of distributive and interactional justice on LMX and TMX. Additional analyses indicate a negative effect of hierarchical status (employees vs. managers) on the variables under investigation. Again, ME mediates and decreases the negative effect of status on LMX. The discussion focuses on links to existing studies and future projects.| |
